**AUDIOLOGY VACANCY**

**Job Title**:
Audiology Assistant

Due to continued success and consequent growth, we seek an initiative-taking and diligent individual at our site near Stockbridge in Hampshire.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**:
Previous experience in Hearing Aid dispensing would be ideal; previous customer service experience would be preferable. You will need to be organised, have effective communication skills and the ability to use IT systems. More important will be your determination, cheerful outlook and desire to be part of this expanding team.

**Location**:
**Main areas of responsibility**:

- Main point of contact between the Audiologists and Head Office
- Programming new Hearing Aids to customer requirements
- Updating customer records on the computer systems
- Dispatching all H.A. orders in a timely and controlled manner
- Recording all incoming H.A. repairs from customers
- Running a full diagnostic on returned aids, identifying issues and making an informed decision on the next step
- Speaking to customers regarding their hearing aids, identifying issues and authorising repairs
- Confirming out of warranty repair costs with customers, collecting payments & updating timescales
- Managing the office Audiology department in a clean, sterile and safe manner
- Arranging supplier returns
- Following up all Hearing Aid sales with the customer

**Outcome**:

- To offer outstanding customer service, ensuring you support or signpost any customer requests.
- Become the customer - Understand the impact a delay, out-of-stock or poor communication impacts on their ability to hear.
- Be meticulous about data, ensuring all records and customer details are updated fully and correctly every time.
- Take ownership - Feedback client issues and flag potential problems or stick points as they arise to ensure we are always giving Obsessively Great Service.
- Be a Hearing Direct champion - Understand our brand, service offering and client journey and enthusiastically champion this with our customers.
- Help us to deliver our mission, to be THE online authority within the hearing space, offering world-class products, advice, support and service at outstanding value.

**Job Type**:
Full-time

**Salary**:
22k-26k per year

**Experience**:

- Hearing Aid Dispensing (Ideal)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
