Payroll Assistant

James Cowie & Co Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced payroll / sales ledger assistant based within their busy office in Hamilton.
**Roles / Responsibilities**
- Processing weekly payroll for approx. 60 employees from start to finish including new starts, leavers, SSP, SPP, holiday pay, auto enrolment, RTI submission etc.
- Dealing with any payroll / HR query’s timely and efficiently
- Maintaining holiday / sickness records
- Sales Invoicing for 3 companies
- Assisting management with recruitment including placing job adverts, collating CV’s, arranging interviews
- Any other Ad hoc duties as required
- Job costing data entering
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a payroll environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Pegasus opera 2/3 experience ideal but not essential
- Experienced in Microsoft office including word and excel
Working hours Mon - Thu 8.30am - 5.30pm, Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm
28 days holiday increasing to 33 days after 1 year service
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
