Lexia Education Services, work in partnership with schools, local authorities, parents and carers, acting as the missing "jigsaw piece" in organising and setting up an alternative or additional education provision.

About the assignment:
Delivering 5 x 3 hour sessions to a 7-year-old boy in Dawlish.
- The young boy has autism and a rare congenital disorder that is present at birth, with his corpus callosum. As a result, he has difficulties with coordination, speech, actions and movement.
- He has global delay, sensory difficulties, and is currently operating at a 4-year-olds level with difficulty reading and writing.
- The boy needs a teacher who can deliver sessions which are play based, games, tactile activities, visual learning and interactive
- He loves Godzilla and dinosaurs.

The successful Tutor will:

- Be passionate about working with children with additional needs.
- Be adaptable and quick learning, able to think on their feet.
- Have solid understanding of the UK national curriculum and be able to produce their own resources.
- Be able to set firm boundaries whilst showing empathy and resilience to pupil behaviours.
