**About Us**

East Lane Primary School opened in April 2017 and was judged ‘Outstanding’ in every category in its

first Ofsted inspection in November 2019. It is housed in a new and purpose-built £16 million building with exceptional resources and is located adjacent to Wembley High. This provides our children with an ‘all-through’ experience of outstanding schools. East Lane Primary School is a 3 form-entry school. Our results to date for Early Years, Phonics, KS1 and KS2 have been amongst the highest in Brent and significantly above the national averages. As a school, we are looking to continue our success as the school continues to be exceptional.

**The Role**

You will work across the school in conjunction with the SENCO and class teachers. You will be responsible for teaching and supporting small groups of children in the class who need additional support or are the most able and need extension. You will assist in the preparation of resources and supervising children at various points and also promoting a positive learning environment.

Intervention Specialist: You will work within Key Stage 1 and 2 covering a variety of roles including: small group intervention work for pupils that need the most support; stretch and challenge the most able to extend learning; supervising pupils during the day; monitoring and managing behaviour; and promoting a positive learning environment.
