**The Opportunity**:
Rapid7 is seeking software engineering placement interns to join our growing Enterprise Automation team as it continues to grow and advance the organization's automation and integration needs.

We need a curious and analytical software engineer with process expertise, data know-how, technical chops and the personality to foster good discussions and great relationships with business partners on intelligent automation business enabled solutions.

We will enable this by automating and innovating our internal processes. And you can learn to do this too.

**Responsibilities**:

- Automate the mundane in order to liberate people for higher value work
- Plan and deliver outcomes using agile, lean and Citizen IT methodologies
- Evangelize the business benefit of intelligent automation
- Support others to Automate the mundane in order to liberate people for higher-value work.
- Learn the latest, hottest technologies on the IT market.
- Support plan and help deliver outcomes using integration technologies agile, lean and Citizen IT methodologies because that’s how we roll.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline, displaying a strong academic record and seeking a 12 month placement opportunity
- Hungry, humble and smart.
- Must be a fast learner and possess a passion for technology
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Energy, Passion, Humor and Enthusiasm - work hard, play hard at the best job of your career.
- Self-Motivated and Accountable - able to take direction and manage prioritization of work
