Job Summary:
The small DRWF team currently operates within a fairly flat hierarchical structure which is under review. The post-holder will provide an administrative support service to the Chief Executive.
**The main responsibilities of this role are -**
- Act as first point of contact, dealing with correspondence and phone calls
- Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
- Assist with the production of reports, presentations and correspondence
- Managing databases/filing systems
- Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems
- Assistance and administration with ongoing projects, as required by the CE
- Miscellaneous tasks to support the CE in the delivery of strategic and operational activities to ensure that the business is well managed and compliant with legislation and regulatory requirements
- Provide general assistance with ad-hoc projects
**Essential Experience/Skills/Competencies**
- Excellent administration skills, being an effective planner and organiser with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills, able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills required, orally and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with staff at all levels to embrace new services, technology and delivery of change
- Self-motivated to achieve targets/deadlines
- Effective working within teams and individually
- Solution focused
- The ability to show empathy for people
- Willingness to undertake a wide range of activities through a hands-on approach and a flexible attitude to working in a small, but growing, health and medical research charity
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £15,600.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
