**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Daily cleaning of all areas in the home to include Corridors, Offices, Dining rooms, Public rooms, Clients rooms, Bathrooms and all associated areas including rotational internal window and wall cleaning.
- To attend to the laundering of all flat linen and Clients personal clothing when required.
- Immediate spot cleaning of soiled carpets to minimise staining, and, permanent damage to same.
- Daily inspection of all toilet and, bathroom areas, and advise on cleaning materials required on a weekly basis, ensuring economic use of same.
- Ensure domestic store rooms are kept clean, and, tidy at all times.

Training & Development:

- Maintain professional knowledge and competence
- Attend training courses and updates as deemed necessary
- Attend regular staff meetings with line manager
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff

**General Responsibilities**

Health and Safety:

- To use equipment supplied for purpose with care, and, in a safe and efficient manner.
- To ensure careful storage of fluids, and, other toxic substances in accordance with COSHH regulations, in order to avoid any risk to self, clients and all others arising.
- Report faults to Registered Manager immediately.

**Special Conditions**:

- This post requires the holder to be available at varying times, which include early morning and late evening work. The post holder is required to work weekends and bank holidays when required.
- To carry out other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the post and the needs of the organisation in order to develop and maintain service delivery.
- The post requires the holder to have a clear disclosure check in accordance with the regulatory body Access NI.
- Ensure all information of confidential nature is not divulged to third parties
