My client operates nationwide from their office in Pride Park, Derby offering a multi-disciplinary engineering service to the public and private sectors of the property and construction industry. They are searching for a Graduate Engineer to join their enthusiastic,highly motivated and experienced team of engineers.

In return graduates will be offered a structured training programme to fast track their development and progress towards chartership - with the company boasting very high pass rates through the chartership process and several current graduates and recentlychartered members of staff to mentor new graduates through the process.

Graduates will also be provided with early career opportunities to manage projects and gain valuable site experience through their temporary works relationships with various national contractors, in addition to working on large exciting structural and infrastructureprojects across the UK.

As a multidisciplinary office work is highly varied, with projects ranging from undertaking structural surveys, to hydraulic and structural modelling in steel, masonry, concrete and timber, or meeting clients and contractors on site to discuss engineeringconcepts and solutions. This varied experience creates a well rounded experience allowing graduates to communicate confidently with clients and contractors across a wide range of engineering challenges.

**Essential requirements**:

- A 2:1(hons) degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

**Further attributes they would like you to have**:

- Knowledge of basic engineering principles
- Knowledge of British Standards / Euro Codes
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Good team player
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks
- Keen interest in working towards Chartership
