Due to successful continued growth we have a vacancy for a Poling Supervisor to join our expanding teams for our Tier 1 client Openreach in the Bristol, Wiltshire and Dorset region, based in our Hallatrow depot.

**Job Purpose**

The Poling Supervisor will be responsible for site and field supervision of teams working under our clients contract in the Bristol, Wiltshire and Dorest region; ensuring client tasks are delivered to required time scales, in a safe and compliant manner; and reporting to the Poling Project Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure works carried out by teams are to agreed safety and quality standards
- Ensure woks carried out are complient to internal and the clients policies
- Ensure teams are adhering to health and safety provisions
- Ensure teams are working in line with NRSWA
- To carry out regular audits to monitor compliance
- To support the teams and ddress any issues as they arise
- Liaising with the Poling Project Manager and back-office staff to scedule and allocate poling teams.
- Ensure the required stores and materials are available for the poling teams to complete work each day
- To resolve any issues using your experience and knowledge, requesting support from the Poling Project Manager where needed.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Proven experience of supervising poling teams across an Openreach contract.
- Demonstrable, extensive knowledge of Openreach Poling standards.
- NRSWA Supervisor Qualifcation is essential
- Openreach acreditation for Poling, underground joining, aerial cabling or equivilant is essential.
- IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office package
- Planning and programming experience
- DepotNet Experience* would be an advantage

**Skills & Personal Qualities**
- An effective people manager with good delegation skills.
- Leads and drives a Performance Management culture, to maintain the quality of work, whilst meeting Service Level Agreements
- Good written, and verbal communication skills
- Able to effectively prioritise to deliver works and management information to key deadlines
- Able to analyse, problem solve and deliver effective solutions.
- Confident computer skills particularly with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office
