The Stores Team Leader will be responsible for managing the stores team and all related activities to ensure the company maintains relevant efficiencies, including minimises stock holding, maximises stock system utilisation and ensuring accuracy with documentation.

**The Role**
- Manage the Stores Team and driving the output of the team whilst developing the team through regular feedback and appraisals in line with company policy
- Responsible for training and inductions as well as managing the training matrix for the team
- Mange the teams holidays to ensure that the stores always has sufficient cover to complete the necessary workload, as well as monitoring attendance/absence in line with company policies
- Addressing any barriers or issues as they occur and highlighting them to the relevant departments whilst expediting their close-out
- Review and update company SOP’s on a regular basis and look for potential improvements to the systems and processes to aid in overall efficiency
- Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock details and stores locations
- Ensure that goods inward/stock control department is well organised and controlled to sufficiently support production
- Ensure incoming products are receipted, inspected where required, and managed appropriately according to company procedures and industry best practice
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system, ensuring all stock is correctly located and or booked out before leaving stores
- Ensure works orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the job correctly
- Manage and control perpetual stock counting/ inventory accuracy checks
- Participate and support in planned stock takes
- Ensure that the stores (and surrounding areas) are clean and tidy
- Seek to implement continuous improvement where opportunities arise
- Ensure effective, efficient and safe running of the Stores area
- Line management responsibilities for the Stores team, including performance management, discipline, appraisals, monitoring absence/attendance in line with Company policies and with the support of the HR Department
- Ensuring the H&S policy is adhered to, highlighting and addressing any areas of concern, including preliminary investigations with the support of the HSEF Manager

- Current Forklift Truck Licence (Reach) (Desired)
- Full Driving Licence (required)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience working with Microsoft Packages and Stock Management System
- Leadership
