**Let us tell you a bit about us**

We’re Aldermore - the award-winning bank, trusted and highly rated by over a quarter of a million customers for more than a decade. With our range of specialist mortgages, savings accounts and business finance solutions, we're backing more people to go for it.

We thrive by saying “yes” to our customers. We respect the ingenuity of entrepreneurs and their startups; we give first-timers a leg-up onto the property ladder; we open up the lending market to many; and thousands of customers chose Motonovo Finance every week to buy their next car, van or motorbike.

This is where you come in. We are on a journey. A journey defined by a destination; to deliver on our purpose.

**Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity**

The Aldermore Group Procurement team is evolving towards a more mature, strategic approach, including how we manage our third party suppliers. We work across the four key areas of Property Finance, Motor Finance, Structured & Specialist Finance and Savings.

You will report into the Head of Procurement, who will be your line manager and responsible for things like performance review meetings, 1-1s and development conversations. As a part of this you’ll be the point of contact for onboarding suppliers in the Oracle procurement system (stakeholders will include managers in the business, procurement team members, the suppliers and finance). We expect that the role will also develop into providing greater support for the procurement team in sourcing and contracts aligned with the Level 4 apprenticeship. This is a great introduction to our business and full training and support will be provided.

As part of the role you will be supported in achieving your Level 4 Commercial Procurement and Supply apprenticeship.

**What will your day look like?**
- Support the Procurement Managers with data and reporting activity drawn from a variety of systems, including compiling spend data and populating systems with contract and supplier data.
- Support the procurement team with oversight of approvals in Oracle (Procurement system).
- Be the liaison point for changes to the Procurement systems and support teams.
- Management of the function’s mailboxes, liaising with Procurement team members and ensuring responses are provided.
- Liaison with external suppliers and other internal functions as required.
- Support the team in supplier categorisation and provide oversight in ensuring required activity is updated in the system.

**What do we expect from y**ou**
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with an ability to interact across our Finance division and client origination stakeholders.
- Able to work fast, accurately and to tight deadlines.
- An ability to work well in pressured situations while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Administration Skills - Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy whilst working to tight deadlines and able to adapt in a changing and demanding environment.
- Analytical skills - Able to analyse and interpret key facts across a spectrum of data sources, providing stakeholders with clear and concise recommendations
- The ability to work unsupervised for extended periods of time, with a high degree of self-motivation / drive.
- An enthusiastic and committed approach, whilst remaining flexible and proactive at all times.

**What can you expect from us?**
- A friendly and flexible culture, the same as how we work with our customers.
- A growing organisation that means there’s lots of opportunities to progress
- A drive for continuous improvement, which you will be empowered to get behind from day one.
- And of course, you will be rewarded competitively, with a good range of core benefits and bonus potential.

**Still curious?**

Join us and we’ll make the same promises to you as a colleague, as we do to each of our customers. We’re committed to building a working environment that values respect, diversity, and compassion. We welcome people regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital status, race, faith or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, and whether you’re pregnant or on family leave.
