**So What's The Main Purpose For The Accounts Assistant/Cashier**?
- To ensure prompt banking of income and to assist in maintaining accurate accounting records across all Campuses.

**So What's The Key Responsibilities Of The Accounts Assistant/Cashier?**
- All Handling of cash and cheques.
- Reconciling value of cash, cheques and card payments to till receipts across all Campuses and subsidiary companies.
- Preparing and reconciling the necessary paperwork ready for collection by the cash collection security supplier.
- Processing banking information into the Finance system for reconciling to the bank statements.
- Assist and advise all Campuses on petty cash and cash floats.
- Monthly reconciliation of petty cash and cash floats across all Campuses.
- Running and uploading virtual terminal reports to the Finance system.
- Process credit card payments in accordance with the College's PCI compliance procedures.
- Preparation of takings for Melton Leisure Services ticket sales, My Riding Life and Brooksby Enterprises. Uploading information to the Finance system for reconciling to the bank statements.
- Other tasks may include, but are not limited to: Assisting in the processing of purchase invoices and credit notes onto the accounting system, assist in debt collection, assist in month end and year end tasks.
- To assist with Internal and External Auditor requests as required.
- Update the accounting system when necessary.
