**Distilleries Compliance Co-ordinator**

Angus Dundee Distillers PLC is currently recruiting for a Compliance Co-ordinator to be based within our beautiful facility, Glencadam Distillery on a permanent basis.

Reporting to The Compliance Manager, this role will have a key focus of maintaining both Health and Safety and Environmental Compliance across our two Distilleries, Glencadam and Tomintoul. This position will be based at Glencadam Distillery, Brechin with regular travel to Tomintoul Distillery, Speyside.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing Scotch Whisky company where you will play a key role in maintaining all aspects of safety and compliance across our Distilleries.

**The main duties of this position are as follows**:

- To help in the continual development and implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental management programmes and systems including compliance with the COMAH regulations
- Ensure that the Health, Safety and Environmental
- Regulations and Site Rules are being adhered to and help improve systems to make them more efficient where possible.
- Provide HSE support, advice and assistance to the distilleries management teams.
- Assist the Compliance Manager & Distilleries Director to implement strategies, co-ordinate and deliver training on HSE matters as applicable.
- Perform audits and inspections to ensure procedures are being adhered to and the related documentation is being completed to the required standards.
- Assist in carrying out investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses and other systems and regulatory non-compliances.
- Control of contractors with regard to Health, Safety and Environmental compliance ensuring that they work under Permits to Work where required.
- Help prepare risk assessment and monitoring where required.
- Help prepare COSHH assessment and monitoring where required.
- Help co-ordinate the Planned Maintenance System

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience of working within a Compliance or Health and Safety focused position.
- Experience of managing Health and Safety across different sites and/or within a Distillery would be advantageous.
- Experience of working with and maintaining compliance with COMAH Regulations.
- Experience of preparing and delivering various H&S Assessments, including COSSH Assessments.
- A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- A Degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar discipline preferred.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft programmes (particularly Word and Excel).
- The ability to work as part of a team, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with the company requirements.
- The ability to manage numerous tasks whilst managing your time effectively.
- A full, clean Driver’s Licence is essential for this role due to the requirement for regular travel between Glencadam Distillery and Tomintoul Distillery.
