Dog Grooming Lecturer

East Durham College is looking for an experienced Dog Grooming lecturer to join our Animal Management Department. Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all by implementing an outstanding dog grooming curriculum which meets the highest industry standards and develops strong industry relevant skills. This post will involve working with both 16-18 learners on full time courses and adults. The role is likely to involve some evening delivery, and is suitable for a job share.

- Passionate about their industry and ambitious for their learners.
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in dog grooming (ideally City &Guilds)
- Hold an assessor/IQA award or be willing to work towards this.
- Have significant industry experience.
- Have teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this.
