We’re looking for Cycle Planner’s to join the Work Management Group at Heysham 1.

As a Cycle Planner, you’ll be supporting the Management of Work process with the production of work week plans that deliver high levels of Nuclear Safety by maximising the plant availability.

You’ll ensure that work week plans effectively support Site Licence Conditions, Statutory Regulations and the focus areas of Equipment Reliability, Operational Focus and Fire Safety.

**What you’ll be doing**

As a Cycle Planner on Heysham 1 you’ll carry out the following on a daily basis:

- You’ll act as a Nuclear Professional at all times and have a Nuclear Safety focus in all activities and responsibilities undertaken
- Produce plans that ensure Site Licence Conditions, Statutory Regulatory and Compliance requirements are fulfilled and not compromised
- Utilise System Aligned Work Windows (SAWW) to plan routines and emergent work, to ensure that Nuclear and Operational Risk is minimised
- Plan activities to support the focus areas of Equipment Reliability, Operational Focus and Fire Safety
- Produce and manage operational risk neutral workweek plans, using appropriate software tools
- Continuously challenging station Work Management standards by demonstrating a ‘can-do’ attitude to drive improvements in defect management
- Provide appropriate support to ensure delivery of Work Management Department and Station Business Plan objectives
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with relevant stakeholders to promote engagement with the plan

**Who you are**

You’ll have excellent communication skills who are able to operate as part of a team in order to collaborate and influence.

Ideally, the you’ll have a good broad knowledge of nuclear power plants or have an industrial background with experience in a maintenance or operations environment

Experience of basic planning principles including common planning software and tools including Microsoft Project and Asset Management Suite (AMS).
