To be successful in this role, you will be an Accredited Police Station Representative, fully qualified to represent Clients in England and Wales with excellent practical knowledge of Criminal Law, evidence and Procedure. You will also a full clean driving licence and be willing to work flexibly including where appropriate during unsociable hours.

**Specification**:
The Police Station Representative role supplements and supports the smooth running of the Criminal Department and the continued growth of the team. The post holder will also be expected to procedure business leads and seize upon marketing opportunities for promotion and sustained success of the department.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Set the highest standard of Client care and customer service
- Providing correct, appropriate and timely advice to Clients by telephone and face-to-face (at the police station, courts and office) and following up in writing appropriate
- Preparation of Crown Court cases - from allocation through to trial or sentence and briefing of appropriate counsel
- Manage calls from both new and existing Clients
- Report to the Head of the Criminal Department in relation to the performance of their futures
- Facilitate the effective running of the department on a day to day basis

- Exceptional drafting skills and demonstrate extensive knowledge of the criminal sector
- Develop and implement legal and commercially viable strategies for the business unit which align to the business objectives
- Demonstrate creative talents and the ability to problem solve
- Have the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Be proactive and self - motivated
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and personal presence that enables rapport-building with criminal defence Clients, external Shareholders and Team Members
- Personal resilience with a genuine commitment to personal care

**Qualification and Experience**:

- Accredit Police Station Representative
- Experience of working in a corporate capacity within a fast - paced fast evolving and dynamic environment
- Experience in preparing a range of cases to trail in the Crown Court
