Sous-chef

Premier Work Support are delighted to be recruiting for a permanent **Sous Chef** for a well-established 5 AA Star, 1 Rosette Establishment based in the beautiful countryside near the Mendip Hills.

This is an exciting role for someone with a passion for the kitchen, who is looking for a new opportunity to join a prestigious company.
We are looking for a proactive person to join a team working together to help this destination establishment continue to build on an already there reputation. In this forward thinking organisation, the hours are based on a 4 day, 12 hour shift working weekin the kitchen. You must have a passion for food, serving excellent quality dishes using local produce.

**Duties**:

- Establish and maintain excellent standards of great service.
- Consistency in every dish prepared, ensuring the kitchen reaches its potential.
- Taking responsibility for Health and Safety compliance and meeting all food hygiene regulations.
- Working to help achieve good margins, controlling wastage and preparation.
- To work and lead by example, helping to create a positive working environment.
- Ensuring the consistent quality, rotation and levels of stock.

This role will be assisting the head chef to help build and create a dining experience, whilst helping to provide a service to help gain repeat customer business. We require someone who will bring in a passion for the industry to work with them everyday.A chef with experience in providing high quality food, and continuously striving to learn and endeavouring to better themselves.
