Our CCTV Control Room seeks to make our district secure and safe by monitoring and proactive patrol via view screens.

You’ll be responsible for operating the Control Room equipment such as cameras and radios and therefore clear communication is vital. You’ll ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, CCTV code of practice and operational control room procedures.

You’ll also answer any out of hour’s emergency calls to ensure that they are dealt with effectively and if required you will implement the Council’s 24-hour emergency call out arrangements.

If you’ve experience in a security work environment, then you’ll know that you need a calm & controlled approach and attention to detail is essential to the role.

You’ll work on a rotating 74hrs a fortnight shift pattern including nights, weekends and Bank holidays (including Christmas) which is 37hrs week.
