Post 1 and post 2: 8.30am - 3.15pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

We have an exciting opportunity to grow our team and appoint two Teaching Assistants to our wonderful village school. Situated in the heart of Suffolk, we have a peaceful rural setting that boasts a covered pool, large outdoor area and a gardening area too.

We are looking for two support staff to work predominantly in our lower key stage 2 class, but flexibility and adaptability are key skills when working in a small community.

Some experience is preferred, but training will be offered.

**You will**:

- communicate clearly with children and adults, verbally and in writing
- ideally have some experience of working with children in a school setting
- be able to support a range of abilities including pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- be able to work both with a small group and on a 1-to-1 basis with pupils
- have a willingness to make a contribution to the general smooth running of our school
- adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
- maintain confidentiality
- have a desire to participate in school and trust continuing personal development opportunities (CPD)
- have an awareness of Safeguarding.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- Grade C /4+ level Numeracy and Literacy
- a basic level of computer literacy

**Desirable**:

- a relevant TA qualification.
