As a flexible working employer, we are offering this role at between 25-37.5 hours per week. You will provide support and guidance to the Dean Neurological Unit team in relation to meeting clinical audit and governance requirements and any associated reportingto internal and external stakeholders.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Being a registered practitioner with the NMC or the HCPC is desirable although we will equally consider non clinical relevant work experience.
- A good understanding of audit standards and clinical governance
- Experience in undertaking clinical audit activities
- Have the ability and willingness to use a variety of IT systems
- Ability to disseminate clinical audit outcomes that generate changes to clinical practice with both individuals and clinical teams respectively
- Ability to lead Continuous Improvement processes in a Health Care facility
- Sound knowledge of the relevant legislative and regulatory body requirements (Care Quality Commission - CQC)
- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary clinical risk management strategies that are effective in promoting and ensuring high quality patient care
- Experience in analysing clinical information and creating reports for internal/external stakeholders
- Proven ability to successfully motivate a clinical services team providing positive leadership and clinical networking opportunities
- Demonstrate communication skills of a high level including written and verbal communication, ability to listen and summarise and presentation skills
- Able to deliver education and training associated with clinical audits

**Where you will be working**

The Dean Neurological Centre has 60 beds in Gloucester (GL2 9EE), which is on the outskirts of the town within easy commute from Gloucester, Cheltenham with good transport links. The Centre delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for peopleliving with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise functional ability and independent living. It specialises in slow stream rehabilitation where the emphasis is placed on maximising each individual'sabilities, comfort and quality of life.

Bedrooms are fitted with high dependency equipment, including ceiling track hoists built in suction and oxygen equipment. There are also well-equipped therapy spaces and other facilities such as gardens, gym and minibus.
