**CNC Programmer and Operator**

Due to continued growth and development, an exciting opportunity exists for experienced CNC Programmer and Operators to join our client's production team.

Your involvement will assist in leading the delivery of high-quality joinery and doorset manufacture. Training and further development is offered to ensure all team members are trained to BM Trada Q-Mark Fire Doorset Manufacture standards in addition to their Company Procedures and Standards. To succeed in this position, it is vital you have an excellent eye for detail and a passion for the work you produce.

A large proportion of our client's works are within the Healthcare sector including Mental Health. The quality of their manufacture and installation is something they are extremely proud of, aided by their bespoke knowledge and skills of these environments. This passion needs to be replicated through yourself. It is important that all team members can appreciate the complex needs and requirements of mental health environments to ensure the continued safety and security to patients and staff at all times during challenging experiences. You will be required to have an excellent eye for detail and a high level of personal satisfaction to ensure your work not only meets, but exceeds clients’ expectations. Led by the Production Manager and Shift Leaders, you will play a vital part in processes of door manufacture as well as involvement with other works such as furniture, shop fronts etc as and when these projects come about. As an integral member of the production team, you may also be required to assist in other processes of manufacturing work, passionately and with a team ethos. Currently our client operates production between the hours of 6am and 8pm with a range of shift lengths available (up to 10-hour shifts). Full time or part time opportunities are available.

**Responsibilities**:

- To be able to understand and work from CAD drawings to manufacture items
- Be able to program the CNC using 3D drawing packages
- Have a good understanding of CNC machines and their operations and capabilities
- Comprise and carry out accurate cutting lists
- Manufacture and assemble doorsets and furniture accurately and as per standards and procedures in place
- Support apprentices learning
- Work to deadlines
