**Reporting Manager - Analytical Testing**

**Location: County Durham**

**Salary: c.£50k + benefits**

Our client is one of the UK’s largest independent chemical testing companies, servicing the whole of UK and Ireland from their base in County Durham. They pride themselves on their reputation of providing chemical analytical testing that is quick, accurateand always reliable.

Due to business growth, we are seeking a talented Reporting Manager to join the team. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, this is an exciting opportunity to plan and monitor the workload of the department, whilst focussing on delivering an exceptionalcustomer centric service. You will lead by example in promoting interdepartmental collaboration.

**The role**:

- Responsible for management of delivering testing reports with a focus on right-first-time delivery
- Coordination of the preparation of reports and invoices
- Authorisation of test reports
- Interpret results in line with customer provided information to provide advice to clients
- Investigate technical queries and coordinate client aftercare
- Assist the Laboratory and Quality Managers in the investigation of Non-Conforming Work investigations
- Coordinate the onboarding of new clients, and assist the Sales department in assessing client needs and producing quotations
- Prepare and deliver presentations/webinars to clients on company services as and when required

**The person**:

- A technical / scientific background with knowledge of environmental technical analysis and reporting
- Previous experience of working with contaminated land samples & testing
- An exceptional eye for detail along with knowledge of ISO17025
- Experience of compiling company performance metrics to measure success
- Experience of leading and inspiring a small team of administrators
- Strong communication skills are essential as this role offers the opportunity to liaise with all areas of the business
- Experience of developing electronic reporting formats will be an advantage
