**Primary Job Purpose**

Ensure the ongoing musical success of the region through:

- Coordinating the activities of the Music Centres; working closely with the local teaching team, the Music Centre Development Managers and the management team to support all teaching and ensemble activities
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, staff and parents whilst at Music Centre venues
- Actively promoting the work of Berkshire Maestros and the Berkshire Music Hub to all stakeholders both existing and new
- Assisting the Music Centre Development Managers to manage all Music Centre events

Maestros’ primary customers include parents, children, schools, wider community music and Early Years groups

**Principal Responsibilities**

**2.** Providing event support to Music Centre Development Managers in organising music centre events

**3.** Maintaining relationships with Parent Friend Associations and supporting their fundraising endeavours

**4.** Providing stewarding duties as necessary, as per the centre requirements

**5.** Working with the Admissions Officer by actively prioritising the starting of new pupils in lessons and ensembles with regular action on waiting lists and the charging process.

**6.** Support the growth of the music centres by promoting the service at local community events and at BM promotional events

**7.** Administration of Music Centre group tours and visits, supporting the Music Centre Development Managers in accordance with Maestros' policy and liaise closely with parents to ensure tour, deposits, payments and consent forms are received on a timely basis

**8.** Liaising with site staff and Receptionists to ensure the health and safety of students and staff through arranged fire drills and comprehensive risk assessments

**9.** Ensure health and safety and safeguarding requirements are met, ensuring staff are first aid trained by liaising with the Facilities Manager

**10.** Use local knowledge to support the Marketing Team with social media posts to ensure representation across the county

**11.** You have a duty to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work. You must co-operate with employers and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal requirements

**12.** Promote and safeguard the welfare of all pupils and service users within the Berkshire Maestros, raising any concerns in accordance with Maestros protocols and procedures.

- Driver with clean driving licence
