Nursery Cook

Salary: up to £23,500 per year depending on experience.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00.

We are looking for a Nursery Cook to prepare and cook nutritionally balanced meals appropriate for under-fives in accordance with the nursery's nutritional guidance for the under-fives.

The key responsibilities are:

- Ensure all children’s dietary needs are being met
- Ensure high standards of hygiene & health and safety are maintained
- Undertake daily cleaning schedule, such as mopping, sweeping, wiping surfaces, and cleaning cookers, kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery
- Keeping paperwork and records up to date
- A team player with the ability to use own initiative

Your Qualifications and Experience:

- At least 1 years previous experience working within a catering environment, preferably working within early years
- Excellent understanding of food hygiene standards and allergens.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification
- Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety requirements

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£23,500.00 per year
