A growing engineering company are looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer. You’ll report into Head of Engineering and be responsible for designing control panels and electrical drawings for new and existing products. You will have a strong electricaldesign background with experience of working for capital equipment or bespoke machinery manufacturer.

As an Electrical Design Engineer your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.
- Responsible for supporting Head of Engineering and working within the product development team.
- Producing electrical design for current systems; including risk assessment, specification, quotation, electrical hardware design & help with software design if required.
- Reviewing and creating hardware design: schematics, panel layout, cable harnesses & BOM creation.
- Regularly communicate with Head of engineering to ensure deadlines met and supply status on electrical engineering for a project via technical meetings.
- Working with the Process Engineer, to interpretthe design ofthe electrical system to support overall system design.
- Supplier support development and control.
- Management of electrical contractors when used.
- Ensure full, compliant, and accurate documentation of the systems developed.
- CE marking of equipment and all related work required to meet legislation.
- Explore new electrical technology that can be used to improve our systems

An exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer with the following.
- Apprentice trained or Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong experience of electrical design preferably within a regulated industry.
- Design of automated manufacturing or special purpose equipment.
- Knowledge of specification & design of schematic circuits, with an understanding of CE marking.
- Demonstrable experience of electrical problem solving.
- Background of successful project target completion.
- Practical skills, Electrical panel build experience.
- Flexible approach to work with a willingness to work at customer sites if required for short periods Worldwide
- Positive thinking and self-motivated individual with good communication skills
