***Key Accountabilities**
- Support the Business Applications Manager in delivering the Business Application strategy.
- Lead the Business Applications Team, developing their skills and capabilities.
- Build and maintain equitable relationships with company stakeholders, partners, and suppliers, leading the development of internal user communities.
- Drive the development of standardised repeatable processes and approaches, including systems for improvement. Ensure proper documentation is produced and maintained.
- Monitor and maintain consistent customer service, gather feedback, drive continual service quality improvements.
- Ensure Business Applications services adhere to company standards (including those of external service providers) and are delivered in line with corporate social responsibility, environmental and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation eg, GDPR.
- Reinforce and adhere to IT change management processes. Contribute to business change activities.
- Provide regular service quality reports, contextualise, and comment on performance.
- Co-ordinate the Business Application Analysts (and Senior Business Application Analysts) workload, ensuring that Service Levels and quality is not compromised and remain high.
- Be a solid team player, offering support, guidance, and advice to others within the business, including users, vendors and within the IT function itself, to help make us stronger and better at what we do.
- We are people, people. We are an engaging IT team who do not hide behind a screen or the mobile phone, so it is imperative that the Business Applications Lead is competent with discussing current issues and presenting future initiatives with the business and vendors appropriately.
- We are a dynamic function. We deliver several projects, and initiatives into the business, so it is imperative that the Business Applications Lead is able to multi-task and undertake several pieces of work, either directly or via their team, at any point in time.
- We celebrate innovation. We are constantly evolving our IT strategy to align the technology to the business requirements, the Business Applications Lead is expected to work with the business and vendors to suggest and deliver offerings which bring efficiencies to the organisation.
