**Experience with Various Animals**: Demonstrated experience and understanding of the unique needs, behaviors, and handling techniques for dogs, cats, rabbits, and ferrets, enabling you to provide appropriate care tailored to each species.
**Customer Service Excellence**: Dedication to delivering quality-first customer service, showcasing empathy and expertise when addressing pet owners' needs and concerns related to various animal species. This extends to serving customers in the shop and assisting with their inquiries and purchases.
**Shop Coverage**: Willingness to cover shifts in the shop area, including tasks such as assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a welcoming and organized shop environment.

**Desirable Criteria**:
**Animal Care Experience**: Previous experience in animal care, veterinary clinics, animal shelters, or related fields, demonstrating an understanding of the distinct care requirements of dogs, cats, rabbits, and ferrets.
**DBS Clearance**: Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) background check, indicating a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, customers, and colleagues.
**Enthusiasm for Learning**: A proactive approach to learning and professional development, displaying a willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge about the specific care needs of each animal species and effective customer service techniques.
**Physical Stamina**: Adequate physical fitness and stamina to handle and care for various animal species, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
**Initiative**: A self-motivated and proactive mindset, willing to take initiative and assist in various tasks to ensure the optimal care and well-being of dogs, cats, rabbits, and ferrets, as well as enhancing the customer experience.
**Educational Background**: Relevant qualifications in animal care, veterinary science, or related disciplines, with a focus on multiple animal species and customer service, providing a strong foundation for understanding their behavior, care practices, and effective customer interactions.
