We’re recruiting a
**Business Support Team Lead** to manage a newly established function delivering administration, technical engineering support and business services at Drax.
This role will be based at Drax Power Station, with some flexibility for home working.

**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity to shape our new function and create a streamlined, efficient service for our business stakeholders. You’ll bring together a team of existing business support administrators, as well as recruiting new team members.
Managing the day-to-day workload of the team, you’ll promote a positive and engaging working environment. You’ll motivate and inspire the team to success through ongoing coaching and mentoring, ensuring that the team delivers the best possible performance.
You’ll also continually review and improve team processes, identifying efficiencies and improving working practices. The role will require you to build strong relationships with stakeholders across Drax Power Station.

**About you**

So what are we looking for? You’ll need experience developing and managing a shared service function in a complex environment. You’ll have a track record delivering services on time, accurately and to the required standard. With a focus on results, you’ll have the ability to look beyond the symptoms of operational issues to see the root cause.
Additionally, you’ll demonstrate that you’ve achieved targets by leading, developing and motivating a team. You’ll need emotional intelligence, the ability to drive/ influence change and ability to build meaningful, collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
