Excellent opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager to join a well-established independent insurance brokerage based in Harrow, Greater London.

We are hiring for a role as an Account Manager within the General Insurance team.

What the role will involve:
Working within the GI team, you will handle all areas of broking for SME businesses across the commercial lines sector, including:

- Quoting and closing new business enquiries
- Building and maintaining long-standing client relationships
- Retaining existing clients at renewal
- Dealing with existing policy amendments
- Identifying cross selling and upselling opportunities
- Working towards individual and team targets

Skills and experience we're looking for:

- Cert CII or equivalent qualification, or working towards this currently
- Strong commercial lines experience, particularly Property Owners, Commercial Combined and SME business.
- Ability to think strategically and deliver solutions to complex issues.
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to deal with clients of all ages and backgrounds
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise work
- Strong literacy & numeracy skills

**Salary**: From £30,000.00 per year

- Insurance Broking: 3 years (preferred)
- Commercial Lines: 3 years (preferred)
