**The Hospice Charity Partnership**, formed of Birmingham St Mary’s and John Taylor Hospices, is looking for a **Retail Driver** to join its **Retail team.**

Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our team in providing a house clearance service, responsible for PAT testing donated electrical items (after training) and assistance to our furniture shop (in Cotteridge) as and when required.

In doing so you will help Retail achieve its income budgets by providing the day-to-day operations to the highest standard, providing excellent customer service to both donors & customers.

A full, clean driving license and the flexibility and ability to travel to any of our shops or potential donor’s houses using hospice commercial vehicles is essential in this role, as is the need to be physically fit as the role involves lifting.

You will assist the Central Operations Manager to ensure that the wider retail department is effectively staffed by covering sick leave, annual leave and supporting staff absence for the existing retail drivers, sometimes at short notice.

Our retail operation is a community-based shopping experience with **20** successful shops in our portfolio, that are of the highest standard and are vibrant, inspiring and value for money.
