Van Driver/warehouseman

We at Abrora UK are pleased to offer a job opening for a Driver/Warehouseman at our Keighley branch. Abrora UK are a tile distributor for a number of leading Spanish tile manufacturers and are looking to add a member to our growing team.

We would like to state that this position is a full-time one and can be physically demanding. We are looking for a lively and fun personality with the ability to openly share ideas and thoughts but also be able to listen and take constructive criticism if necessary.

Duties to include but not limited to:

- Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload items from the van using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including OSHA regulations, while operating the van and handling materials
- Use warehouse management systems and any appropriate equipment to ensure accurate order picking and sample cutting
- Assist in the warehouse picking, packing and keeping the area clean
- Build and assemble products or packages according to specific instructions
- Perform regular maintenance checks on the van to ensure it is in good working condition

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- Ability to operate equipment such as fork truck and pallet jacks is desired
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers

Please note that a valid driver's license is required for this position with no more than 3 penalty points

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
