**Technical Specialist Analyst**

**Hybrid Working - Edinburgh**

Lorien's Banking Client are currently looking for a skilled Technical Specialist to join the expanding team on a new project on an initial 6-month contract.

This role is Hybrid working, with 1/2days a month on site in Edinburgh.

This role will fall Inside IR35.

**What you will do**

This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate and driven analyst to join our team.
- **Work with business teams to translate user stories into technical requirements.
Support the feature team lead engineer in the low-level detail of the high level design.**:

- **Produce solutions that meet current non-functional requirements and are flexible to cope with future functional and non-functional needs**:

- Hone your technical expertise in a collaborative, agile and forward-thinking team environment.
- Producing innovative ideas and confirming these through experimenting and prototyping.
- Designing and developing solutions that support the high-level design and business objectives
- Evaluating and analysing metrics to continually improve performance
- Liaising with lead engineers and domain architects for an understanding of the wider platform and how it supports business objectives
- Work with business teams to translate user stories into technical requirements.
- Support the feature team lead engineer in the detail of the high-level design.
- You will work across the lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design, through to testing, deployment, and operations.
- Work in a feature team, exploiting and developing your specialism in the context of the associated platforms.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Experience of Agile and DevOps tools and methodologies.
- **Experience with Payments**:

- **Experience with Loans**:

- **Experience with VAR (Value at Risk)**:

- **Experience with Reconciliations**:

- **Experience of working in an envir**onment where products must be delivered to short delivery cycles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers.
- Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
