**Job Description**:
As an Apprentice Receptionist at Pocket Geek Tech Repair, you will play a vital role in learning and gaining hands-on experience in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operations of our shop. This apprenticeship opportunity will allow you to develop essential communication and administrative skills that are valuable in various industries. You will be the face of our franchise and the first point of contact for clients, both in person and over the phone.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Greet and welcome customers, clients, and visitors with a warm and friendly attitude, learning how to create a positive first impression.

2. Assist in handling incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel.

3. Learn to provide information about our electronics repair services, pricing, and other relevant details to customers and clients.

4. Shadow experienced receptionists to schedule appointments for electronics repair and maintenance services, ensuring efficient use of technicians' time.

5. Observe and learn how to manage customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints, providing prompt and courteous responses.

6. Participate in maintaining a clean and organized reception area, creating a comfortable and inviting environment for customers.

7. Assist in basic administrative tasks, such as data entry, record-keeping, and filing.

8. Observe and collaborate with the service technicians and management team to understand efficient workflow and customer satisfaction practices.

9. Shadow experienced receptionists in coordinating with other branches within our franchise network to facilitate seamless communication and customer service.

10. Learn cash handling procedures, including processing payments and issuing receipts accurately.

11. Follow company procedures and protocols to ensure the security of customer information and business operations.

12. Observe and learn how to promote a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong customer-focused culture.

13. Stay informed about our electronics repair services, promotions, and updates to assist in providing accurate information to customers.

14. Learn and adhere to company policies and guidelines regarding confidentiality, privacy, and safety.

**Requirements**:
1. A strong interest in customer service and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

3. Basic organizational abilities to assist in handling multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

4. Proficient in using office software and equipment, including computers, phones, and cash registers (prior experience is an advantage but not required).

5. Ability to remain calm under pressure and observe how to handle challenging situations with professionalism.

6. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.

7. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn from experienced receptionists and mentors.

8. Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written.

**Salary**: £14,161.57-£29,064.33 per year
