**Position**:Construction Operative.

**Type**:Full-time (permanent after a 3-month probationary period).

**Locations**:Greater Manchester, Derbyshire, Cheshire and occasionally other areas of North West UK.

**Salary**:£28,000.00 per annum.

**Working Hours**:40 hours per week.

Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm (inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break).

**Holidays**:28 Days inclusive of Bank Holidays.

Workplace pension.
Possible company van.
Full company uniform provided.

Clarke Lambert Construction Ltd are looking for two Construction Operatives for immediate start. Working within the Education, Local Authority and Commerical sectors carrying out the full scope of construction work including refurbishments, new builds, extensions etc.

**Essential Functions**:
Skills to include but are not limited to:

- Carpentry and woodwork.
- Hang doors, skirting boards, architrave, build stud walls and any other first and second fix.
- Roofing.
- Brick laying or block laying.
- Drainage and groundwork.
- Boarding and plastering.

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilizes all required personal protective equipment.
- Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
- Follows all equipment safety and maintenance procedures.
- Reports for duty at the designated location on time each day.
- Follows directions from supervisors and upper management.
- Adheres to all safety rules and company safety policies.
- Communicates well with all staff members and management.
- Strives to improve job skills and develop the potential for upward mobility.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.

**Requirements**:

- Experience is essential, this must be detailed within a CV along with any written references from previous employers.
- Beneficial to have: NVQ qualifications.
- Must pass an enhanced DBS check.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Full UK Driving Licence with a reputable driving record, this must be presented at the interview stage for validation.
- Ability to work overtime when the company requires is preferred.
- A highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail orientated.
- Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun and fast-paced environment.
- Verbal and written communications skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background (i.e. contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers).
- Clean and professional appearance.
- Punctual and dependable.
