As the site based HSE Advisor you will be tasked with providing operational
health, safety and environmental technical support and advice to the site team as
well as internal audit for one of my clients key contracts. You will work as part of
the SHEQ Compliance Team reporting to the SHEQ Compliance Manager.
Tasks will include ensuring that HSE best practice is embedded and followed on
site; preparing risk assessments and method statements; conducting audits,
inspections & incident investigations and liaising with the Client’s H&S Team.

**Duties**:

- Supporting the Site Team by providing authoritative advice and guidance on
- health, safety & environmental matters.
- Promoting adherence to the company policies and procedures.
- Carrying out regular site checks & inspections for HSE compliance.
- Planning & implementing Safe Systems of Work including production of Risk
- Assessments and Method Statements.
- Reviewing and approving subcontractor RAMS as required.
- Ensure robust reporting regimes are followed for HSE reportable incidents.
- Gathering evidence, carrying out incident investigations and producing
- incident reports.
- Improving & reporting on arrangements for health, safety and environmental
- management on site.
- Delivering internal training on HSE related topics.
- Reputation and Risk Management in all operational activities.

**Key Skills**:

- Computer literate.
- A good communicator.
- Certified Internal auditor (Desirable).
- Good working knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 and associated standards.
- Good time management skills, team player.

**Requirements**:

- **NEBOSH Construction Certificate essential**:

- At least 3 years relevant experience in the Construction Industry.
- **Membership of IOSH would be advantageous**:

- **Must hold a clean full driving licence and be willing to travel.**:

- Must be able to work independently under own initiative.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £300.00-£400.00 per day

- Monday to Friday

- Grays, Essex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
