**Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant**:
As a Kitchen Assistant; you will be taking an active role in supporting the Head Chef with the preparation and delivery of meals for residents. As well as preparing fresh ingredients for various meals, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen area that adheres to both Health and Safety regulations and the exemplary Morris Care standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen environment
- Cleaning all crockery, cutlery and food preparation equipment
- Assist in preparation of meals for service
- Prepare food and ingredients for service.

**Desirable Skills and Experience of the Kitchen Assistant**
Here at Morris Care, we provide support for your role as Kitchen Assistant from our friendly team. Previous experience within a health care setting is not essential; however, may prepare you better for the role.
