**VANRATH** are recruiting a **Responsive Maintenance Joiner** to work for a leading Property Services Contractor, based in Antrim, Northern Ireland.

**Remuneration**:
£13 to £14 per hour

**Client**:
Our client is a well-respected Property Services Contractor that have been operating for approximately 50 years. They specialise in property alterations and modifications, damage restoration and maintenance projects. They work with Social and Private Housing clients, Property Management Companies, Care Homes, Schools, Councils and Commercial Buildings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- 1st and 2nd fix duties including all ironmongery repairs / kitchen install / all types of door installation/ glazing
- Working on void and tenanted properties
- Working with other team members to provide a courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants
- Work under the instruction of the site supervisor endeavouring to meet the needs of the client
- Observe the highest levels of health and safety, and use appropriate safety equipment
- To ensure areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day
- Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of any relevant site-based or company documentation electronically or paper based as per requirements of the contract

**The Ideal Person**:

- Be time served or appropriately qualified and be able to demonstrate relevant experience
- 1st & 2nd fix joinery experience
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of experience and sound knowledge in the delivery of minor building and maintenance joinery services
- General joinery works such as fitting doors, kitchens, repairing floors, stud walls and windows
- Valid CSR Card
- Must be available for Out of Hours Call-Outs on rotational basis
- Full driving licence

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience in the social housing sector
- Working at Heights Harness training
- Be able to undertake specific planned jobs in a professional and timely manner without rework and/ or close supervision
- Work as part of a team with the ability to work using own initiative
- PVC floor and ceramic wall tiling

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
