**About the role**:
University College London (UCL) wishes to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) in Construction Economics. The post holder will be based at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, a world-leading faculty ranked #1 in the world for Built Environment studies and #1 in the UK for its research environment. The post holder will carry out teaching, research, and programme administration within the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, in the field of Construction Economics consistent with the vision and mission of The School. This is a fixed-term contract from 01 September 2024 to 31 August 2025.
**About You (Key requirements)**:
The successful applicant will be expected to prepare and deliver appropriate teaching material, including regular tutorials and seminars, as part of the delivery of the relevant module requirements. This includes leading or co-leading construction economics focused modules across our postgraduate taught or undergraduate programmes; development and delivery of relevant teaching material; contributing to curriculum development; preparation of classes and teaching materials; setting and marking of assignments.
The post holder will also be expected to invest time in scholarship, professional development and research to underpin research-based education in areas that span sustainable construction, and other relevant fields; keep up to date with relevant research, learning and teaching developments particular to the programme including UCL initiatives; and to be a member of the School’s appropriate committees.
