Here at Eden Brown we are delighted to be partnering with an incredible Charity who support people with a diagnosis of Cardiomyopathy to recruit them a Digital Marketing and Communications Officer on a 9 month fixed term contract initially.

Cardiomyopathy is a group of conditions that affect the structure of the heart and reduce its ability to pump blood around the body. It can have a devastating impact on the lives of people of all ages, including babies, and is usually inherited. Medical experts estimate at least 1 in 250 people (approximately 266,000 people in the UK) have cardiomyopathy.

About the role

As Digital Marketing and Communications Officer you will be responsible for raising the profile of the Charity by ensuring that key messages are shared accordingly to ensure that supporters are able to see the difference that raising funds is making to people with Cardiomyopathy.

You will work with the Research and Policy Team to create content promoting the Charitie's research and policy work across social media, web, MyLife magazine and as required by external stakeholders as well as work with the Research and Policy Team to keep the Research and Policy web pages up-to-date.

About you

You must have had experience in writing engaging and inspiring copy as well as experience of managing social media channels. You must have a proven track record of undertaking a wide range of communications activity as well as experience in cross organisational working.

This role is office based in Amersham with Hybrid working available. Please note this contract is an initial 9 month contract with a view to becoming permanent. For more information please contact Laura Iliff on 07442607841.
