Acorn by Synergie is hiring Quality Assurance Operatives in the Cross Hands area on behalf of our renowned client.

What would your day-to-day work involve?
- Monitoring the compliance of production teams with Food Safety procedures and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications in relation to food safety and quality.
- Sampling products on different lines to ensure compliance.
- Sealing checks on production line.
- Support with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action including GMP close out.
- Monitoring production teams' corrective measures to ensure that improvements in their processes become permanent changes.
- Label check and sign off when required.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment that supports teamwork and engagement in team performance.
- Full compliance and strict adherence to all Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality Standards laid out in departmental and site policies and procedures.
- Ensuring full understanding and compliance with risk assessments and SOPs
- Understanding the role of the QA Operative is key to the effective operation of the line and that the QA Operative has specific responsibilities to ensure production runs efficiently.

What skills or experience will I need to apply?
- Have experience operating machinery within a manufacturing facility.
- Understand the importance of compliance with processes and procedures and the impact of these on Food Safety and Quality.
- Have a desire to progress within the business and demonstrate a strong willingness to undertake all training required.
- Possess relevant IT literacy skills.

Working hours and pay rates:

- 5 day working week as per rota from Sunday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Saturday
- 8-12-hour shifts.
- £10.76 per hour.
