**About us**

Chiswick Scenery Company is a small business in London and forms part of the wider Group of companies which sit under Media Powerhouse.

It is a relatively newly formed company that is looking to train and develop the next generation of carpenters in a unique and exciting industry. We provide a comprehensive scenic construction and rental service - we can design and build complete bespoke stage sets for your conference, exhibition or event, or simply produce an individual piece of furniture.

We are looking for a Trainee to join the team and to learn everything about carpentry in an exciting and progressive industry.

You will be taught all about the tools and materials from some of the industries best known and respected people.

This is a really exciting oppurtunity for someone who has a passion for carpentry to really develop and launch their career.

**Skills and Attributes we are looking for**:

- ablility to demonstrate a passion for carpentry
- keen to learn and develop into a valued team member, having been given the training and guidance to do so
- punctual, polite and works as an effective part of a team
- understands the need for proper Health and Safety and adheres to company policy at all times
- and if you already have some carpentry experience that is a bonus (but not essential)

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
