CNC Turner Setter Operator

Leicester

£14 - £16 per hour

Temp to perm

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our team. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the production process

Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

- Previous experience operating CNC turning machines (5 years)
- Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Knowledge of materials handling and storage procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Fanuc controlls

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm

Fridays 8am-1pm

39 hours per week

32 days of annual leave after joining the company on a permanent basis

Free tea and coffee

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
