Job description

**Main Purpose of Role**
To represent Nottinghamshire Police in the multi-agency, problem solving approaches to young / vulnerable frequently missing people.

To ensure compliance with Missing Persons’ national guidance, force procedures and local protocols, thereby promoting best practice, reducing repeated missing episodes and managing risk of harm to vulnerable people.

To assist and provide guidance to operational staff regarding missing person investigations.

**Key Skills & Experience Required**
The ability to gather, assess and summarise key information from a range of sources (including computer and manual systems) in order to support action

Must have valid UK or EU driving licence for at least 12 months and be willing to use own car for business travel within the force.

Experience of working with vulnerable people would be essential.

Experience of making reasoned decisions in complex situations.

- you must have resided in the UK for at least the last 3 years**

**Hours: 16 hours Shift Pattern working Thursday and Friday**
