Volunteer to help Sue Ryder to be there when it matters.

About us

Our Westwood shop is looking for volunteers to join the team. Located just 10 minutes from Peterborough town centre, our Sue Ryder Westwood charity shop has a wide range of donated stock for just £3 or less. We’re open six days a week with convenient free parking opposite the shop and a drop off area at the rear of the shop for donations. We offer a wide selection of quality clothing, accessories, bric a brac and linen. We also have a large selection of DVDs, books, games and kid’s clothing and toys.

About you

Support our shop behind the scenes, back of house, sorting donations, getting things ready for sale and making sure the shop is kept stocked and ready for our customers.

You will also be helping us to inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts of four hours or more, as agreed with the local manager.

How much time does the role take up?

Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays, weekends, or as and when you are available.
