Our Dairy Division supplies and maintains milking equipment, bulk milk tanks and refrigeration equipment, electrical installations and slurry handling equipment. We are an official agent for DeLaval equipment as well as being the main UK agent for the unique AirWash Plus teat dip and rinse system. We also design and install milking parlours, livestock control systems and slurry handling systems, using in-house CAD facilities for design planning.

**Key Duties will Include**:
Apprenticeships are usually for 4 years and incorporate day or block release at college to gain the knowledge element of the qualification, with on-the-job practical experience gained in the workplace. Apprentices will either study towards an NVQ in Refrigeration, alongside developing skills in servicing, repairing and installing bulk milk tanks, or an NVQ in Electrical Engineering, learning how to install electrical equipment and voluntary milking systems in milking parlours, and conduct testing and inspections.

Apprenticeships are a great way to get industry experience and skills, in a hands-on working environment.

This training route suits students who prefer a more ‘hands on’ approach to learning. Many of the Managers, Sales Representatives and Heads of Department within the Company joined via the apprenticeship route.
