About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Tesco as a strategic partner for Group Treasury across all Business Units

You will help to create opportunities to drive the business forward by maximising Treasury expertise, to provide insight, challenge and innovative solutions, lending strategic support and influencing decisions.

You will be responsible for
- Treasury Business Partner Leading on developing and maintaining strong, collaborative and value adding relationships with Directors and Business Leaders, using ability to see issues from both a local and group perspective.
- Using a Business Partnering approach to work collaboratively with BUs to become the go-to Treasury person for BU Leadership teams in all of our markets - a trusted advisor who adds value to stakeholders and their businesses.
- Developing and delivering best in class Treasury practices and processes to all of our markets, by working with BU teams and the wider Group Treasury team.
- Working with both Group and local banking partners (and other providers) to ensure cost effective local transactional support, whilst honouring "terms of engagement" with Group relationship banks
- Ensuring that business units' Treasury activity is fully integrated into Global Treasury activity through the use of the Treasury Management System, and Treasury forecasting and reporting standards to enable effective control over activity and monitoring of Group Treasury Policy compliance
- Using the depth of specialist knowledge in wider Treasury team and through external stakeholders to allow focus (of this role) to remain on the broader context Change and sustainability
- Championing change and innovation, adopting new ideas and leading them through to delivery, ensuring that group objectives & policies are met.
- Lead the roll out of the Group's award winning Sustainability linked supply chain finance offering and lead all other supply chain financing offerings or initiatives across Tesco's retail markets
- Lead and develop Sustainability initiatives in partnership with Product (Tesco's commercial function) that progress Tesco's strategy, climate targets and the Treasury agenda Team

You will need
- ACA/CIMA or MBA and/or AMCT/MCT
- Experience of working with business unit teams across multiple (International) locations
- Business Partnering experience and mindset
- Championing best practice
- Experience of leading and landing international projects including delivering change
- Experienced in managing multiple stakeholders
