Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in the early years
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the needs of each child
- Collaborate with parents and families to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning
- Assess and monitor children's progress and development, keeping accurate records
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures

Staff must love being outdoors as we are an outdoor nursery. Staff will be required to help set up and pack away all site equipment.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences for young children
- Patience, empathy, and understanding to meet the unique needs of each child
- Organizational skills to plan activities, manage time effectively, and maintain records
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Any outdoor training such as forest school, fire and tool training is desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-37 per week

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour
