Open from 9am until late, W Lounge will showcase the best of Gaelic produce in its food offering, complimented with innovative beverage concepts. **ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the W Lounge Manager, the W Lounge Barback will have overall responsibility assisting in the daily operation of the bar, ensuring the bar team has the resources to provide exceptional service to our guests.

As W Lounge Barback, key aspects of your role will include:

- A team player, hard worker, and detail oriented
- Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
- Stock ice, glassware and paper supplies
- Transport supplies to bar set-up areas
- Wash glassware
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
- Process all payment methods
- Secure liquors, beers, wine, coolers, cabinets and storage areas
- Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation

W Edinburgh brings bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital. Behind a façade featuring a winding steel ribbon - reflecting the city’s festival spirit - this 12-storey structure is the centrepiece of Nuveen Real Estate’s Edinburgh St James Quarter, incorporating retail, leisure and entertainment facilities along with residential apartments.

This W hotel aims to help redefine the city’s hospitality landscape. Accordingly, it fuses the brand’s signature amenities with modern design and W Happenings, highlighting what’s new in design, fashion, music and culture.

Pay: £11.93 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
