This individual will report directly to the Executive Loss Adjuster and Team Leader within the Chubb Aviation Claims Team. They will be expected to handle a caseload of Aviation claims (including complex) meeting Broker/Client service levels. Supporting the Team Leader will also be a priority area in terms of claims service and supporting growth with underwriting. Their main focus will be to adjust, adjudicate and process Aviation claims proactively in accordance with the Chubb Claims Proposition and where required to assist the team in meeting key operational targets.

Loss Funds
LIRMA Portfolio Management
Maintaining Claims service levels to Brokers and Clients
Third party audit issues
In addition the individual will be expected to field enquiries from various stakeholders within and outside Chubb. This will include enquires from Internal/External Audit, Compliance, Reinsurance and Claims Operations.
It is important that the individual maintains key relationships which will include:
External - clients, brokers, and service providers particularly legal representatives and loss adjusters
Internal - Aviation team, other line of business claims departments and operations, underwriting, actuarial and reinsurance.
In addition the individual would be expected to offer suggestions to the Team Leader that will assist in improving the efficiency and profile of the Aviation Claims team.
**Key responsibilities**:
To handle and settle Aviation claims working closely with brokers, policyholders and service providers. Ensuring prompt settlement of the claims and maintaining accuracy and timeliness of reserving, including control of vendor expenses.
To work with and support the Team Leader within the framework of Chubb ethical and service standards and focus on performance delivery across the team in relation to claims operational targets.
To act as part of a team to ensure both team and individual goals are met and to work with Brokers and Clients to ensure claims service standards are maintained
To represent Chubb at internal and external meetings including meetings with brokers, and London market representatives
To develop and maintain client relationships through providing timely and clear responses to correspondence received.
To provide general assistance and support to claims colleagues, managers and underwriters including projects and ad-hoc tasks as they arise
To undertake and or assist management reporting where necessary
To operate within and comply with the Chubb control environment and work to the Claims Proposition values and CODE principles
**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:
Proven track record in understanding the Aviation line of business as well as London Market processes. To quickly learn and develop knowledge of Chubb together with it’s processes and structure.
Solid experience of claims handling in an Insurance Company and Lloyd’s environment in the London Insurance Market.
Experience of handling claims with associated legal aspects and protocols.
Good understanding of Chubb and where Chubb are positioned in the wider insurance market.
Sound understanding of the insurance/reinsurance market.
Computer Literate
**Qualifications**:
Degree educate and/or ACII qualified
**Languages**:
Local language - fluent / English - essential. / Other European language - beneficial
