Here at Nurse Seekers we are proud to be working for a fun, inclusive childcare provider who are looking to employ a Level 3 Qualified Practitioner and a Room Leader for their fantastic semi-rural setting based near Norton on the outskirts of Worcester.

**Key Responsibilities Nursery Nurse**
- Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
- Implement the daily routine of each base room and ensure in conjunction with other staff that a plan of activities is available for the children that is appropriate to their age and ability and that is in line with the EYFS
- Communicate with colleagues, parents/carers to meet the individual needs of the children
- To ensure the Nursery is of a high quality and the environment meets the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development.
- Update parents on their child’s day and development with invaluable professional feedback

**Key Responsibilities & Requirements Room Leader**
- Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years (required)
- Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Room Leader (required)
- Work alongside the Manager and staff team to ensure the philosophy behind the nursery is fulfilled
- In conjunction with the Manager and deputy to formulate, operate and evaluate a yearly programme of activities and improvements, following the guidelines of the EYFS that is suitable to the age range of children
- Actively promote and support safeguarding of children, ensure all staff and students observe the nursery’s policies and procedure to keep children safe from harm.
- Attend and help to prepare for staff meetings/room meetings/morning manager’s handover meetings when necessary.
- Working a minimum of 37 hours with the flexibility to move and work throughout the whole nursery
- Undertake a monthly review of assigned designated person responsibilities i.e. Fire safety/drill, first aid, cosh, risk assessments, health and safety and safeguarding.
- Undertake other duties or responsibilities as requested by the Manager/Deputy Manager.
